Didi Benami on American Idol

Didi took on Ingrid Michaelson’s “The Way I Am” tonight during the first live performance. Simon said she sounded good but the problem was if he closed his eyes it could have been the original song, which means she sings it well but she’s not unique. Kara disagreed with Simon and said she enjoyed the changes Didi made and felt she was taking the song to another level but she should watch her pitch. Randy thought the song was good but wants to see more ’star’ factor. Ellen thinks that she needs to do something more daring for the first night and reach out to the audience more. Vote for Didi so we don’t lose her!!!
